Crispy fried chicken is the king of all southern meals. Reminds you of Sundays at Grandma's house. This is one of my favorite dishes to make, let me show you why!
Clean and pat dry chicken with a paper towel. Set into a large bowl.
Pour over whisked eggs, hot sauce and mustard. Season with 2Tbsp Smoked Paprika, Garlic Pepper and Nature Seasoning. Mix well until all chicken is coated. Set aside.
In a large bowl add in flour, corn starch and remaining seasonings. Whisk until fully incorporated. Add in chicken pieces, coat each wing. Ensuring all creveses are coated. Once coated, lay on wired rack to let flour adhere to chicken.
Add in frying oil to a heavy bottomed pot (about 3/4 full). Heat oil to 350-365. Carefully lay in chicken, cooking in batches of 2-4 pieces. Fry for 6-8 minutes or 10-12 minutes if you prefer chicken fried hard.
Lay on a wired rack to rest. Once cooled, SERVE & ENJOY!
